HEALTH & SAFETY
Health and Safety is not simply an essential component in any successful project it is our overriding daily concern.

On every contract job we take every care to ensure work is completed as safely as possible.

Because we take the issue so seriously, we employ our own safety manager, who has a wealth of experience and is a Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. That way we have our own in-house consultant to turn to for advice whenever we need him.

In addition, all our staff are given regular safety briefings to ensure they are aware of the latest practices. We also take advantage of the expert knowledge of other specialist safety consultants on various projects.

This safety-first philosophy ensures that at Walter Forshaw, we use the most up-to-date equipment and techniques to undertake each contract. It’s an approach that ensures successful outcomes with the minimum of inconvenience to neighbours and surrounding properties whilst preventing harm to the environment.
Accidents

Although the demolition industry can be one of the most dangerous areas to work, our accident record is an excellent reflection of the importance given to Health & Safety in the workplace at Walter Forshaw Ltd.
