AREAS OF OPERATION
Through large-scale investment in our own plant, equipment and people we are perfectly placed to tackle a wide variety of demolition work.

Our main areas of operation are:

• Multi-storey deconstruction & demolition
• Traditional and city centre demolition
• Industrial demolition & dismantling
• Transport network demolition (Road & Rail)
• Land reclamation

Along with a diligent, dependable and well-trained workforce, equipment that includes a fleet of skip and tipper wagons, steel & concrete shears, mobile crushers, crawler cranes and specialist demolition specification hydraulic excavators we also have something else to offer - hands-on experience.

Whatever the task, you can be sure we have the specialist knowledge to complete it successfully and safely. Whether it’s the floor-by-floor deconstruction of a multi-storey tower block or, as in one case, the dismantling of 2 Victorian train sheds, whilst keeping the station open to trains and passengers - we have the knowledge, personnel and equipment to complete the project.

Clients have come to expect a high level of service when dealing with Walter Forshaw Limited due to the experience and expertise that comes with over 80 years in the demolition and haulage business.

Our success is such that we have established a series of long-standing partnerships with the likes of Urban Vision Partnership Ltd (part of City of Salford Council), Wigan MBC, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Costain, Laing O’Rourke Northern Ltd in addition to working as Principal Contractor for a long list of Local Authorities and NHS Trusts
